Polyether Ether Ketone (PEEK) is the most prominent and widely used member of the polyaryletherketone (PAEK) polymer family. Understanding PEEK's Exceptional Properties
PEEK is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic with a melting point of approximately 343°C and a glass transition temperature of around 143°C. It exhibits excellent mechanical properties, including high tensile strength, stiffness, and fatigue resistance. The material maintains its performance across a wide temperature range, from cryogenic conditions to over 250°C, making it suitable for the most demanding environments.

PEEK is ideal for parts near engines and exhaust systems, such as piston rings and seals, due to its high thermal resistance. Medical Applications
PEEK has found extensive use in the medical field due to its biocompatibility and resistance to bodily reactions. It is used in spinal fusion cages, dental implants, and orthopedic devices because of its biocompatibility and bone-like mechanical properties.
PEEK is used in bone screws, spinal cages, and dental devices. Its radiolucency allows for clear medical imaging without artifacts, providing significant advantages over traditional metal implants.
